The Preliminary Results of the Archaeometric Analyses: This paper shows a first overview of the archaeometric study carried out in the frame of the project Ceramic Production in the plain of Paestum (2016-2018), which allowed the analyses of a large number of ceramic samples from the area of the Sele River plain including the town of Poseidonia/Paestum and ist territory and the Etrusco-Italic settlements of Pontecagnano and Fratte.
