Fabrics of Malta: Systematic fabric studies on Maltese pottery have a relatively short history. In 2000 B. Bruno and C. Capelli published a first paper dealing with three fabrics, identified, on the basis of archaeometric analyses, among two amphorae types of the Late Republican and Early Imperial period.

Anfore e ceramica acroma dall'avamposto militare di Monte Turcisi (CT). Uno studio preliminare sulle provenienze: IntroduzioneIl modesto rilievo collinare alto 303 m, denominato Monte Turcisi, si trova al confine settentrionale della Piana di Catania e ricade oggi nel comune di Castel Di Iudica, in provincia della città etnea. Le strutture di interesse archeologico su di esso affiornati riguardano principalmente i resti relatvi ad una fortezza militare di epoca greca e di un eremo del XVII sec. d.C.
